(VOV) – Ho Chi Minh City’s Women’s Union on Friday celebrate the 103rd International Women’s Day, March 8th, as well as the 1973 years of Two Trung sisters’ uprising.
The participants reviewed the tradition and history of the March 8th Women’s Movement and the important role of the women in national development. As part of the occasion, the city’s Women’s Union launched a pro-active campaign in response to Vietnam Family Year, and to mark the 65th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh’s appeal for national patriotism.
