The show “Charming Vietnamese Ao Dai” will attract 30 fashion models displaying various models of the dress and its changes in different historical periods. The festival with the theme of “charming Ao Dai in Ho Chi Minh City” aims to honor and promote traditional cultural values as well as the beauty and grace of the ao dai, which has become the symbol of feminine beauty in Viet Nam. Director of the municipal department of tourism, Bui Ta Hoang Vu, says the event will include an exhibition on ao dai at the Ao Dai Museum and two open-air music and song programs featuring pop stars and young singers:
“This year’s festival has more open space to attract more visitors through exchanges with designers and models in fashion shows. The Nguyen Hue walking path’s beautiful scenery will be an excellent place for visitors to explore the fashion.”
