Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee Le Hoang Quan told Izumiotsu Mayor Haruhiko Ito in Ho Chi Minh City on Tuesday that Ho Chi Minh city regards seaport development investment a top priority in its economic development, adding that the local seaport system currently handles 75 million tonnes of cargo per year and its capacity is expected to increase.
