(VOVWORLD) - Secretary of Ho Chi Minh City's Party Committee Nguyen Thien Nhan extended Christmas greetings to Archibishop Bui Van Doc and other Catholic dignitaries and followers during a visit to Ho Chi Minh city’s Archidiocese and the Catholic Bishop’s Conference of Vietnam on Tuesday.

Mr. Nhan hailed the Catholic community’s contributions to the city’s development over the years, especially in culture, education, charity, and traffic safety. He urged them to further contribute to local development.
