(VOVworld) - Ho Chi Minh City’s Vietnam-Cuba Friendship Association has held a ceremony to celebrate the 57^th Anniversary of the Cuban Revolution and review its activities in 2015. Cuban Consul General in Ho Chi Minh City Bernabe Garcia Valido attended the event. In 2015, the association held a number of activities to commemorate the 55^th anniversary of Vietnam-Cuba diplomatic ties and cooperated with the Cuban Consulate General in organizing cultural exchanges between the two countries. Association President Truong Thien Hien said more exchanges will be held in 2016: “In 2016 we will cooperate with the Cuban Consulate General to commemorate major events and important victories in Cuba. Such activities will help to foster the traditional friendship between the two countries. The Cuban Consulate hopes that our special relationship will spread further particularly among students.”
