The exhibition includes 171 documents in Vietnamese ideographic script issued by the Le, Trinh, and Nguyen Dynasties from the 16th to 19th century. Administrative documents issued between 1954 and 1975 under the South Vietnam Administration at that time also affirmed Vietnam’s establishment, exercise, and protection of its sovereignty over the archipelagos.
The exhibition showcases 65 maps affirming that the Hoang Sa and Truong Sa archipelagos belong to Vietnam, published by Western countries since the 17th century.
The event will run until Saturday.
