(VOVworld) – A number of schools in Hong Kong’s Special Administrative Region continue to close due to the “Occupy Central” movement. Also on Monday, Hong Kong government officials returned to work as protests dwindled. Some protesters removed barriers blocking the entrance to government headquarters and made a small path for people to walk through. The crowds had thinned markedly in central Hong Kong but regrouped later in the day.
Hong Kong had previously closed government’s head offices as protesters blockaded main roads and building entrances, forcing 3.000 people to remain at home.
