Hue International Hot Air Balloon Festival opens
(VOVWORLD) - The third Hue International Hot Air Balloon Festival 2019 opened on Saturday with the participation of hot air balloons from Thailand, the Republic of Korea, Japan, the Netherlands, and host Vietnam.
Visitors to the event will have the opportunity to enjoy a balloon ride to see Hue city, and explore and enjoy performances of hot air balloons. Paul Caswell, an Australian visitor, said: "I think Hue is a beautiful city. Now with the festival it's even more interesting and more beautiful. I feel very lucky to be able to see it. It's quite magnificent."
The Hue International Hot Air Balloon festival will run until Monday.

During the 8th Hue Traditional Craft Festival 2019 which opened on Friday, varieties of flowers from across Vietnam are on display at the XQ Embroidery Art Museum and along the Nguyen Dinh Chieu pedetrian street. Ho Dang Ngoc Hanh, Director of the XQ Embroidery Art Museum, said: "This is the very first time that we have attended the Hue Traditional Craft Festival. We hope to attract more visitors with our flower display and help them better understand traditional Vietnamese crafts."
