(VOVworld) – Russian President Vladimir Putin and Hungarian President Viktor Orban signed several cooperative agreements Tuesday following their talks during President Putin’s on-going two day-visit to Hungary.

The agreements included those on personnel training activities in nuclear energy, regional cooperation, education, and healthcare. ON this occasion, both leaders exchanged diplomatic notes on the opening of a General Consulate of Hungary in Kazan. Speaking at a joint press briefing, Putin said that Russia and Hungary see huge potentials in expanding economic ties as both countries agreed on a number of issues including a contract on Russia’s gas supply for Ukraine after 2015 as well as the use of gas storage.
