(VOVWORLD) -The Huong Pagoda Festival, one of Vietnam’s largest and longest spring festivals, opened Thursday, on the sixth day of the Lunar New Year.

Themed “Safe–Civilized–Friendly”, the festival promotes the cultural value of the Huong Pagoda Complex.
Dang Van Canh, Deputy Chairman of the My Duc district People’s Committee, said, “The festival’s organizing board makes sure that preparations are well done. Sidewalks have been renovated and information points have been set up to explain to tourists the work that’s been done to the Huong pagoda.”
110 electric cars will be available to transport pilgrims. Sightseeing tickets and boat tickets can be purchased online.
