IAEA delegation returns to Iran for nuclear talks

A delegation of 8 experts from the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) led by IAEA Deputy Director-General Herman Nackaerts on Wednesday arrived in Tehran in an effort to resolve dispute with Iran over Tehran’s controversial nuclear program. Speaking in Austria on Tuesday, Nackaerts said he hopes Iran will cooperate with the IAEA delegation in a constructive spirit. Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson Ramin Mehmanparast said that Tehran also hoped to reach a "comprehensive agreement" with the IAEA during Wednesday’s talks, but it’s only be feasible if IAEA acknowledges Iran’s nuclear rights. Mehmanparast ruled out IAEA’s access to Parchin, saying the site had "no connection with Iran's nuclear activities."
