IAEA: Iran living up to nuclear deal
(VOVWORLD) - Iran is living up to its commitments under the 2015 international nuclear deal, known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), said Yukiya Amano, head of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) on Sunday.

Under the deal signed in July, 2015, Iran had to restrict its uranium enrichment activities in order to get international sanctions lifted. The IAEA is in charge of monitoring Iran's nuclear program. The agency has released eight reports, each one confirming Iran's adherence to the international nuclear pact. The agreement is on the edge of collapse after US President Donald Trump declined to certify Iran's compliance and called for new sanctions.
