Addressing a press conference in Vienna following his return from Tehran, Grossi said he had talks with senior Iranian officials.
He noted that Iran and IAEA aimed to resolve a standoff over the origin of uranium particles found at old but undeclared sites by early June, in efforts to revive the 2015 Iran nuclear deal.
The parties to the indirect talks between the US and Iran in Vienna to revive the nuclear deal say they are close to reaching an agreement.
