(VOVworld) – French ambassador to Vietnam Jean Noel Poirier has said that he has always considered Vietnam an important part of his life.

In an interview with the Voice of Vietnam prior to Tet, the ambassador said that exchanges and cooperation in all areas between the two countries have helped to raise mutual understanding between the two peoples. He said that this year, the two countries will work closely together in education, cooperation between universities and vocational training schools, and healthcare. He added that the Vietnamese community in France has served as a bridge linking the two countries.
