A new round of talks between India and China on border issues took place in Beijing on Monday. Both sides focused on India-China relations, from border issues to broader strategic topics. India and China have gone through 15 rounds of talks since the border conflict broke out in 1962, but they have achieved little progress since signing an agreement in 2005. This round of talks belongs to the second phase of a three-phase process. The last phase of this process will be to draw a new border map.
