India encourages foreign investment, including Vietnamese investors
(VOVWORLD) -India has mechanisms and policies in place to attract foreign investment, including in the Vietnamese business community, according to Madan Mohan Sethi, Consul General of India in HCM City.

The Consul General of India addressed a trade promotion conference between Vietnam and India held on Monday in Ho Chi Minh City, aiming to foster trade and industrial cooperation among the business communities of the two countries.
He added that the business community and leading industrial manufacturers belonging to the Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of states such as Telangana and Andhra Pradesh have come to Vietnam to seek investment and business opportunities and survey the markets. Some Indian enterprises want to seek opportunities in industry, construction, and pharmaceuticals in Ho Chi Minh City and Vietnam, he said.
