(VOVworld) – Indian media has strongly opposed China for publishing a new map which draws India’s northeastern state of Arunachal Pradesh as part of Tibet.
The India Today newspaper cited a statement of the Indian Foreign Ministry which confirmed that “Aranuchal Pradesh is an inseparable part of India". India has repeatedly conveyed the information to the Chinese government. The administration of Aranuchal Pradesh state strongly criticized Chinese action and asked the Indian government to have a solution. Aranuchal Pradesh Governor, Nabam Tuki, said they rejected China’s claim of sovereignty over Aranuchal Pradesh and asked the government to negotiate with China to handle the problem.
