India seeks further aquaproduct cooperation with Vietnam
(VOVWORLD) - Indian fishery businesses wants to share experience with Vietnam to develop the seafood industry, and hope that Vietnamese businesses will invest in aquaculture and seafood processing in India, said Aditya Dash, Eastern regional representative of the Confederation of Indian Industries on Wednesday at the Online Fisheries Exhibition and Conference themed “Fish mart”.
Mr. Dash said India, with a 8,000-km coastline, has a thriving aquaculture and processing industry and is one of Vietnam’s major seafood raw material suppliers.

At the event, Le Hang, Deputy Director of the Training and Trade Promotion Center of the Vietnam Association of Seafood Exporters and Producers (VASEP), briefed participants on Vietnam’s aquaculture and Vietnam-India aquaculture cooperation.
The event is an opportunity for Vietnamese businesses to learn more about the Indian market. The Vietnamese Embassy in India is working to organize an online business matching session on Friday.
