(VOVworld) – On Thursday the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics awarded the insignia “For the course of building and developing the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics” to Preeti Saran, Indian Ambassador to Vietnam. Ta Ngoc Tan, Director of the academy, acknowledged the ambassador’s contributions to cooperation between Vietnam and India, particularly in establishing and developing the Academy’s Centre for Indian Studies. The Indian ambassador pledged to continue fostering ties between the two countries and between India and the Academy. On behalf of the Indian government, she presented a donation of 100,000 USD to the Centre for Indian Studies.
