(VOVworld) - Indonesia will host the Asia Pacific Regional Meeting to be attended by representatives of countries contributing peacekeeping forces, regional organizations, and the United Nations, officials said Thursday.

The event is part of a series of meetings on peacekeeping in Europe, America, and Africa. Under the theme “Enhancing Capabilities and Responses of UN Peacekeeping Operations”, the meeting from July 27 to 28 will mobilize support and contribution of troops in the Asia-Pacific region.
