(VOVworld) - Chairman of the Indonesian People’s Consultative Assembly Zulkifli Hasan has pledged to do his best to foster ties between Vietnam and Indonesia.

During a working session with Vietnamese Ambassador to Indonesia Hoang Anh Tuan on Thursday, Hasan said he was impressed by Vietnam’s achievements over the past 30 years of renovation and its contributions to peace, development and prosperity in the region. Ambassador Tuan said the Vietnamese State and people are determined to tighten relations with Indonesia and the key task of his term of office is to further expand Vietnam - Indonesia political, economic, cultural, and educational ties.
