(VOVworld) – The General Statistics Office of Vietnam reported that last month’s industrial production index increased by 7.3% compared to the same period last year.

In the first 8 months of 2016, the industrial production increased by 6.9% over the same period. The manufacturing and processing sector went up 9.7% in the eight-month period over the same period in 2015.
