Initiatives to improve RCEP implementation
(VOVWORLD) - The Central Institute for Economic Management released a report on Vietnam’s trade and investment with its Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership partners (RCEP) on Thursday.

The report analyses Vietnam’s trade and investment to grasp opportunities and handle challenges from RCEP. It also recommends short and long-term reform solutions to improve Vietnam’s economic self-reliance.
Economists said this requires joint effort to raise ASEAN’s central role. Vietnam and the ASEAN countries played key roles in RCEP negotiations and they should maintain their role in the implementation, said the report.
