InnoCity 2021 - Vietnam Young Initiative program launched
(VOVWORLD) - The Vietnam Young Initiative Program – InnoCity 2021 – was launched at a ceremony in Hanoi on Thursday, linking 150 places in 16 countries.

Vu Quoc Huy, Director of the National Innovation Center, said: “The program will showcase the enthusiasm and intelligence of the many young overseas Vietnamese intellectuals who are turning their hearts to the homeland. We hope they will contribute their ideas and initiatives to resolving issues facing Vietnam. The program will mobilize resources to support innovation aimed at Vietnam’s development goals”.
The program was initiated by the Union of Students and Youth Unions in Europe, under the sponsorship of the National Innovation Center, to gather the ideas of young Vietnamese all over the world for restoring Vietnam’s economic growth after the pandemic and building smart, sustainable Vietnamese cities.
The program will be held from now through October in both in-person and virtual forms in Vietnam and Europe. The 50 best initiatives will be selected for further discussion with experts in relevant fields.
