The withdrawal came a couple of days after US President Donald Trump announced the pull-out of a small number of the remaining US troops in Iraq.
The US has about 5,000 soldiers deployed in Iraq and the coalition has about 2,500.
In January, the Iraqi parliament approved a resolution to end the presence of foreign troops in Iraq.
