International community agrees on strong sanctions against North Korea
(VOVWORLD) - The foreign ministers of South Korea and France agreed on strong sanctions that will lead North Korea to talks on denuclearization.

At a meeting with South Korean Foreign Minister Kang Kyung-wha in Paris on Monday, French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian agreed that North Korea's nuclear and missile programs are one major threat to the global community.
On Monday, the South Korean, US, and Japanese defense ministers vowed to press North Korean denuclearization through diplomatic measures. Their joint statement came at a meeting within the framework of the ASEAN Defense Ministers Meeting Plus (ADMM+) in the Philippines. The three men agreed to support an international campaign to prevent North Korea from developing its weapons of mass destruction.
Southeast Asian defense ministers expressed their concerns about North Korea’s nuclear program, urging it to comply with international resolutions and resume a dialogue.
