International community rushes to help Afghanistan overcome landslides aftermath
(VOVworld) – The number of people dead and missing in the landslide in Badakhshan province, Afghanistan continues to rise, with 2700 victims confirmed so far. The Afghan authorities said search and rescue effort has stopped as houses are buried in meters of mud and soil.
