International conference marks 20 years of Imperial Citadel conservation in Hanoi
(VOVWORLD) -A 2-day international conference entitled "20 years of researching, preserving and promoting the value of the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long-Hanoi" will open on September 8.

Organizers are the Hanoi People's Committee, UNESCO Representative Office in Hanoi, and the Vietnam Historical Science Association.
According to a press briefing on Wednesday, the hybrid conference will be attended by 200 Vietnamese and international delegates. Discussions will focus on two main topics: Evaluation of the 20-year research results and heritage values, experience and orientation.
There will be an exhibition "Treasures of the Imperial Palace of Thang Long", introducing the most typical and unique artifacts found during the excavation of the site from 2002 with 3D projection mapping technology.
