(VOVworld) – The 5th International Festival of Traditional Vietnamese Martial Arts, familiarly called the Binh Dinh martial arts festival, concluded in Binh Dinh on Monday.

Themed “Preserving and promoting Vietnam’s traditional martial arts”, the 4-day festival attracted more than 1,500 martial artists from Vietnam and 24 other countries and territories, who competed for 97 gold medals. David Basset is a French martial artist:“I’m very proud to be back in Quy Nhon city, Binh Dinh province. It’s a great honor for Binh Dinh martial artists like me to return here every two years. It’s an opportunity to meet and learn from thousands of martial artists worldwide. We all hope to gather here 2 years from now and hope that even more teams will participate.”
