Investment in administrative reform is investment in development: PM

Chairing the 4th meeting of the Government’s Steering Committee for Administrative Reform in Hanoi on Wednesday, the Prime Minister called on ministries and sectors to take prompt measures to simplify business regulations and decentralize administrative procedures; connect, integrate and share data for the leadership and management of the Government and the Prime Minister.
PM Chinh requested the People's Committees of provinces and centrally run cities to submit to the People's Councils for promulgation of policies on exemption or reduction of fees for using online public services and online payments so as to encourage people to use online public services and pay online.
The Prime Minister also asked that the level of people's satisfaction with public administrative services must exceed 85% this year and 95% by 2025. On-time settlement rate at the Public Administration Service Center must be over 90%. Users of online public services in a province must reach 50% by the end of this year, he said.
At the meeting, the Ministry of Home Affairs announced that Quang Ninh province led 63 provinces and cities in Satisfaction Index of Public Administration Services (SIPAS) and the Public Administration Reform Index (PAR Index) in 2022.
