Iowa Governor Terry Branstad welcomed Vietnam, US and other countries to negotiate the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) to open up trade and investment opportunities for countries in the Asia-Pacific. Governor Terry Branstad told Vietnamese Ambassador Nguyen Quoc Cuong in Washington, DC, on Wednesday that he was pleased to see the constant growth of trade exchange between Iowa and Vietnam. He said that the state authority has assigned a Deputy Governor to lead a local business group to visit Vietnam early next year.
