IPU President: Vietnam is a role model in cooperation with IPU
(VOVWORLD) -National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan has reiterated Vietnam’s commitments to integrating sustainable development goals in national socio-economic development programs.

Madam Ngan met President of the Inter-parliamentary Union (IPU) Saber Chowdhury on the sidelines of the 137th IPU Assembly which opened in Saint Petersburg, Russia, on Saturday. She said Vietnam looks forward to further support from the international community to achieve these goals.
President Chowdhury praised Vietnam as a role model in implementing IPU resolutions, adding that fruitful bilateral cooperation has contributed significantly to the IPU’s development.
The 137th IPU Assembly, which will close on Sunday, draws 2,000 delegates from around the world. Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan will deliver a speech on promoting cultural diversity and peace through dialogue between religions and ethnicities.
