(VOVworld) - Iran has begun
implementing transparency measures ahead of the August 25 deadline as it
promised the International Atomic Energy Agency. IAEA Director General Yukiya
Amano told reporters at the Vienna airport on
Monday upon his return from Iran
that the implementation of five transparency steps has begun, including
providing information about issues that are part of IAEA’s inquiry into what it
calls the possible military dimensions of Iran's nuclear program. Amano
expects that progress will be made over the next week.
