Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif has called on the P5+1 to introduce their new initiatives at a negotiation on Tehran’s nuclear program scheduled to begin on October 15. Zarif said initiatives in previous negotiations in February and April in Kazakhstan were invalid. Those initiatives, which were made before the election of President Hassan Rouhani in June, required Tehran to halt its 20% uranium enrichment and the uranium enrichment program in Qom city.
