She said the P5+1 nations and Iran have decided to allow more time for negotiations to reach a long-term agreement on the Iran nuclear issue. The US State Department said Iran has reduced its storage of lower-enriched uranium to 7.6 tons under a preliminary deal reached in November 2013. June 30 had been Iran's self-imposed deadline to reach a deal with the six world powers.
The same day, the EU announced it will extend its sanctions on Iran for another week.
