Iran: Nuclear talks may happen soon
(VOVworld)- Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi on Friday said nuclear talks between Iran and the 5 permanent members of the UN Security Council plus Germany will take place in the near future. Salehi said the 5 countries are undecided on several issues and Tehran is trying to clarify any questions. He said Iranian chief negotiator’s letter to be sent to the EU Foreign Policy chief Catherine Ashton expresses Tehran’s readiness for dialogues. Saheli’s announcement came as the US and EU are imposing tough sanctions against Iran’s oil exports due its controversial nuclear program.
