(VOVworld) – Iran’s national oil company said Monday that it has offered 50 oil and gas fields to international bidders, the first time it has done so since last year’s landmark nuclear deal with world powers.

According to Iran’s Oil Ministry, foreign companies should submit their applications by November 19, and successful applicants will be announced on December 7. Iran hopes to attract more than 150 billion USD in foreign investment in its oil, gas, petrochemical industry by 2020.
