(VOVworld) – Nuclear talks between Iran and the P5+1 group, including the UK, the US, France, Russia, and China plus Germany, in Geneva were seen as detailed, serious, and constructive, although there remained sources of difference.

Following the second day of talks, the Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister and chief negotiator Abbas Araqchi said the biggest difference was over Iran’s uranium enrichment rights. The world powers asked Iran to halt a part of its nuclear program in 6 months time in exchange for loosened sanctions. On the same day, Micheal Mann, spokesman for EU Foreign Policy chief Catherine Ashton, said negotiators have touched upon every nook and cranny of the issues, focusing on their disagreements. He was optimistic that this round of talks would not fail as its forerunners had and would continue until Saturday.
