(VOVworld) - Iranian Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani pledged Iran's full support for the Syrian government in its war against terrorists. Speaking at a meeting with Syrian President Bashar Al Assad in Damascus on Monday, Mr. Larijani stressed that Iran will always stand by the Syrian government to restore peace and stability in the region. President Al Assad said the Syrian government will resolutely root out terrorism and extremism and promote national conciliation. He pledged to cooperate with Iran for bilateral and regional benefit.
