Iraq plans on reconstruction
(VOVWORLD) - Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi on Thursday announced negotiation plans with businesses in March to attract investment for recontruction.

The move followed the just-concluded Kuwait International Conference for Reconstruction of IRAQ (KRCRI). Al-Abadi told reporters that in a few days, the government will meet with ambasadors and representatives of finance institutions who attended the KRCRI before talks with local and foreign businesses. Representatives of 76 countries attending the KRCRI pledged 30 billion USD for Iraq’s reconstruction.
