(VOVworld) – The Islamic State group has claimed responsibility for the attack in the Syrian city of Al-Bab, which destroyed 2 commander bases and killed at least 60 people.

The attack, which was considered IS’s revenge, came a few hours after the Syrian insurgents, backed by Turkey, recaptured the city from IS. Earlier, the Turkish military and its Syrian ally said they have controlled Al-Bab, IS’s largest stronghold in northern Syria.
