(VOVworld)- Islamic State fighters executed at least 400 people in the ancient Syrian city of Palmyra, most of whom were female and children, according to Syrian national TV channel on Sunday.
IS also seized the whole area of Al Walid, an Iraq-Syria border post. Syrian government troops are exerting efforts to gain control over Palmyra .
