(VOVworld) – Israeli air strikes in Gaza have killed 4 more Palestinians, who were attending a funeral in Sheikh Radwan, northern Gaza, said Palestinian news sources Thursday.

The Israel Defense Force said it attacked 6 jihadists preparing to launch rockets but did not say if there was a link between the two incidents. In another development, the Ezzedeen Al Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, confirmed the death of 3 of its leaders in an Israeli air strike in Rafa, southern Gaza, on Thursday. Some 2,200 Palestinians and 67 Israelis have been killed since the beginning of Israel’s offensive in Gaza on July 8. During the past 2 weeks, Israel and Hamas have reached some temporary truces toward negotiating a long-term peace agreement to end the conflict.
