Israel opens new settler units in West Bank
(VOVWORLD) - Israeli officials have approved plans for the construction of more than 2,200 new settler units in the West Bank, defying the international outcry against the Tel Aviv’s land expropriation and settlement expansion policies, Press TV reported on Friday.

Israeli Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman approved the expansion of the settlement in Palestinian territories, while Israeli officials will grant construction permits to build 900 houses in Ariel settlement in western West Bank.
There are 600,000 Israeli people living in more than 230 settlements built since Israel occupied Palestinian lands in the West Bank and East Jerusalem in 1967.
