(VOVworld) – The Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, began his historic African tour on Monday to visit Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, and Ethiopia.

This is the first visit to Africa by an Israeli Prime Minister since the 1994 visit to Morocco by Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin.
Netanyahu will attend a meeting of east African nations of Uganda, Kenya, Rwanda, South Sudan, Ethiopia, Zambia, and Tanzania. Israel considers African nations its allies at international forums, notably the United Nations.
