Italian newspaper: Vietnam, a new attractive destination for foreign investors
(VOVworld) – Italian leading daily economics newspaper Il Sole 24 Ore has run an article entitled “Vietnam, new opportunities for foreign investors”, citing Vietnam’s preparation to sign the Trans-Pacific Partnership Agreement. The article proposed that Vietnam would be a very attractive investment destination if they can exploit the opportunities to expand their services, boost exports activities, penetrate into new markets, and make full use of the abundant, young labor force.

The article says: “Vietnam welcomed its 90 millionth citizen on November 1
st. This is a country with very young population, rapid growth and is now quickly integrating into the most attractive economic area, which is ASEAN, with 610 million people. The TPP to be signed will allow Vietnam to join the 12 countries that account for 40% of the world’s GDP and 1 third of global trade.” And this is a great opportunity that Italian investors should not miss. Meanwhile, Italian leading news agency ANSA called Vietnam “the gate into the Southeast Asian market of made-in Italy products”. ANSA quoted Italian Ambassador to Vietnam Lorenzo Angeloni as saying that Vietnam is a country full of potentials and a bridge for Italy to reach other big markets in Asia. Many Italian corporations such as Piaggio and Ariston which arrived in Vietnam a few years ago, are strongly developing, and now expanding their production to Indonesia, a huge market of 200 million people.
