(VOVworld) – Turkey and the European Union have reached a compromise to reduce the flow of migrants from the Middle East to Europe which is causing the worry of Italy when the migrants crossing the Mediterranean  sea to this country.

The Italian Interior Ministry has so far registered more than 13 thousands arrivals this year, compared with 10 thousands in the same period in 2015. But it is unclear whether the decision marks a real increase in numbers or just an early start on movement usually seen in April. Carlotta Sami from UNHCR Italy said that the big numbers of migrants with different nationalities are crossing the sea to Italy since Greece is no longer their hope.
