Japan Emperor, Empress leave Hanoi for Hue
(VOVworld) – President Tran Dai Quang saw off Japanese Emperor Akihito and Empress Michiko at their hotel in Hanoi on Friday.

The royal couple left Hanoi for Hue city as part their State-level visit to Vietnam. President Quang said he hoped that the Japanese Emperor and Empress have enjoyed their time in Hanoi. He introduced them the distinctive features of the former imperial city of Hue which was recognized by UNESCO as World Cultural Heritage site in 1993.
The Emperor spoke highly of his visit to Vietnam, saying that expanded people-to-people exchanges and cultural proximity will help boost mutual understanding and friendship between Vietnam and Japan.
