Japanese coastguard ship visits Danang city

(VOVworld) - A Japanese coast guard ship, the JCGS Yashima, led by Coast Guard Superintendent Akihiro Hirano, visited Danang City from May 10-14. This has been the 3rd visit by the Japanese Coast Guard to Vietnam.

The captain and 59 crew members will meet Danang City’s leaders, the High Command of the Vietnamese Marine Police, and the Danang Search and Rescue Center. They will share experiences with Vietnam coast guards on combating pirates and take part in seminars on search and rescue operations at sea and sports competition.
