Japanese enterprises are always welcomed in Vietnam: Deputy PM
(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam always welcomes and highly values Japanese businesses’ operations in the country, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha said during Tuesday’s reception in Hanoi for President and CEO of Japan’s Sumitomo Corporation Shingo Ueno.

Mr. Ha underlined that the growing comprehensive strategic partnership between Vietnam and Japan is the foundation for fruitful bilateral economic cooperation.
The Deputy PM said he hopes that Sumitomo and Vietnamese localities will continue to promote new cooperation projects in the coming time, including the Northern Hanoi smart city and the Western Thanh Hoa industrial park.
But he noted that Sumitomo’s projects should be adaptable to climate change and resilient to natural disasters, contributing to ensuring their sustainability and effectiveness.
